KWIH's Shanghai Project Receives Asia Pacific Property Awards 2024-2025

K. Wah International's (KWIH) Huajing mixed-use project in Shanghai has been honoured to receive the award for "Best Mixed Use Architecture Shanghai Municipality, China" in the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2024-2025. The Asia Pacific Property Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in the Asia-Pacific region, celebrating excellence in outstanding real estate projects and developers.

KWIH received "Excellence in Clubhouse and Landscape Design Award" from "Hong Kong Economic Journal"

K. Wah International (“KWIH”) was awarded the “Excellence in Clubhouse and Landscape Design Award” at the "2024 Corporate Brand Awards of Excellence" organised by the Hong Kong Economic Journal. This accolade recognised the Company’s thoughtful design and craftsmanship in the clubhouse and landscape.

KWIH’s Edge has scooped the "2023 Suhe Bay Area Best Deep Plowed and Implementation" Building Award

EDGE located in Shanghai has won the "2023 Suhe Bay Area Best Deep Plowed and Implementation" Building Award. This award was established by the Suhe Bay Area to recognise high-quality office buildings that have demonstrated long-term, deep cultivation and made significant contributions to the development of the economy in this area.

Located at Suzhou Creek in Jingan District, Shanghai, home to the creative industry, EDGE stands in close proximity to urban rendezvous and landmark architectures for art and culture with convenient access to major transportation hubs. The building has been created through spectacular designs befitting an innovative landmark, while its identity as an exceptional cosmopolitan commercial centre is further underpinned by its cutting edge technologies and state-of-the-art services. The façade features expansive windows adorned by juxtaposed rectangular structures, separated at the middle- and high-levels by panoramic sky gardens to underline the seamless integration of recreational and office space that promises a fascinating experience in business activities and daily life comparable to none.

The adoption of eco-friendly concepts is evident in EDGE from design and construction through operation and management, as it seeks to bring positive impacts on its neighbouring communities and environments. In 2020, EDGE received LEED (core and shell) Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council as well as the China Green Building Label.

GEG and its Property Hotels Receive Multiple International Green Certifications

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) attaches great importance to environmental protection and sustainable development. In addition, among GEG’s property hotels, Banyan Tree Macau has achieved the EarthCheck Gold Certification for the fifth consecutive year, while Galaxy Hotel™ and Hotel Okura Macau have received the EarthCheck Silver Certification. In 2021, Galaxy International Convention Center (“GICC”) received Macau’s first Silver Certification for Environmental Design. With all these garnered certifications, GEG has become the integrated tourism and leisure enterprise with the most EarthCheck certifications in Macau. This fully demonstrates the effectiveness of GEG’s multi-pronged sustainability efforts, as well as its recognition by international authoritative organisations.
