Marinella achieved Platinum Rating of Provisional Assessment

Marinella, a KWIH project in Island South, has achieved the Platinum Rating of Provisional Assessment under the BEAM Plus NB V1.1 of the Hong Kong Green Building Council in 2012. This recognition acknowledged the effort KWIH paid on green construction and management.

Francis Lui bestowed Tourism Medal

KWIH and GEG earn recognitions in Top 100 HK Listed Companies 2012

KWIH was awarded the Quantum Leap Award and the Most Promising Award at Top 100 HK-Listed Companies 2012. Meanwhile, GEG also scooped four awards, including Top 100 Overall Strength, Top 10 Revenue Growth, Top 10 Net Profit Growth and the Most Promising Award. Top 100 HK-Listed Companies 2012 was jointly organized by major financial information provider Finet Group and Tencent Holdings. Over 1,000 HK-listed companies were assessed by respected academics and stock commentators based on five major financial indicators of market capitalization, net profit, dividend yield, turnover, and return on equity. The awards are the best testimony of KWIH and GEG’s public recognition.

Chairman Dr Lui Che-woo honoured with Grand Bauhinia Medal

Dr Lui Che-woo, Chairman of K. Wah Group, is awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal (GBM) by the HKSAR Government, in recognition of his lifetime dedication to the Hong Kong society and philanthropy. Dr Lui is devoted to facilitating the city’s charity affairs over the past years through generous donation to medical care, cultural and art development, disaster relief and general welfare. GEG was ranked Hong Kong’s best at Investor Relations by the authoritative magazine FinanceAsia in its Asia’s Best Companies Poll 2012, while Robert Drake, Group Chief Financial Officer, came third in the Best CFO in Hong Kong.
