Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) fully supports the "Genesis and Spirit – Showcase of Gansu Intangible Cultural Heritage," presented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR Government, with the theme "Symphony of the Silk Road, Enchanting Gansu." The inauguration of the event was recently held at the Macao Museum, where GEG representatives and distinguished guests jointly unveiled the exhibition.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the inscription of the “Historic Centre of Macao” on the World Heritage List. To celebrate, GEG organized nearly 10 parent-child groups from the Caritas Macau Fountain of Love and Joy Integrated Family Service Center for a tour of the Mandarin’s House, arranging for them to participate in a wheat straw artwork workshop to experience Gansu’s rich intangible cultural heritage projects at Macau’s world heritage site and appreciate the fusion and exchange of cultures.
Moving forward, GEG will continue to support the intangible cultural heritage exchange and cooperation between the Mainland and Macau, showcasing the history and diversity of Chinese civilization to both residents and visitors, and further solidifying Macau’s role as “a base for exchange and cooperation where Chinese culture is the mainstream and diverse cultures coexist.”

Themed “Embracing the Past, Creating the Present – Connecting China and Portugal through Music,” the three-day music arts festival featured over 20 exciting activities, including music competitions, cross-disciplinary performances, and cultural experiences, showcasing the creative blend of Chinese and Portuguese music while nurturing new artistic talents from the Greater Bay Area and Portuguese-speaking countries.
GEG is delighted to have presented this musical event, using music as a medium to promote Macau’s deep East-meet-West cultural roots, its unique multicultural charm, and solidify its position as a “World Center for Tourism and Leisure.”
During the Dragon Boat Festival, the KWCM Dragon Boat Team proudly participated in the Tai Po District Dragon Boat Race 2025, competing in both the Industrial Race Cup and the Little Dragon 300M Open Race. The dedicated team, through hard work and relentless spirit, clinched First Runner-Up in the Industrial Race Cup!

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) has been actively supporting the Macau SAR Government’s initiatives in sports development by proactively organizing and supporting various large-scale sports events and activities, and encouraging its team members to participate in different sports competitions and recreational activities aimed at promoting their mental and physical wellbeing.
This year, in support of the Macau International Dragon Boat Races for the 20th consecutive year, GEG is organizing seven dragon boat teams formed by team members from its different properties to participate in the races. Recently, a blessing ceremony was held at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre to wish the GEG Dragon Boat teams a smooth race.
GEG has been supporting Macau’s sports development through hosting various large-scale international sports events, including serving as one of the organizers of the “ITTF Men’s and Women’s World Cup Macao Presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group” held at the Galaxy Arena for two consecutive years; supporting the “Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon” for 21 consecutive years and being one of its organizers for two consecutive years since 2023; organizing the “WTT Champions Macao Presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group” for five times and serving as one of its major organizers for two consecutive years since 2023; and hosting the globally renowned UFC FIGHT NIGHT MACAU last year at the Galaxy Arena for the first time, marking its return to Macau after a decade. These underscored GEG’s ongoing commitment to contribute to Macau’s development as a “City of Sports”.
During the Dragon Boat Festival, colleagues and friends of K. Wah International (“KWIH”), the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong (“ICGS”) and the Stanford Hotels formed a vibrant dragon boat team. They actively participated in the annual event as one of the largest dragon boat races in Hong Kong – “Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships 2025” at Stanley Main Beach, competing against around 100 corporate teams and showcasing a spirit of unity and perseverance.
The dragon boat team boasted a strong lineup, comprising 27 male and female athletes from KWIH, ICGS, and the Stanford Hotels. Ms. Quinly Wan, Director of Development and Leasing at KWIH, Mr. Eugene Tang, KWIH's Regional Deputy Director and Shanghai General Manager; along with Mr. Benny Choy, General Manager of Finance Operations at KWIH, were present on-site to cheer on the team alongside colleagues and friends, creating an exceptionally lively atmosphere. Through seamless teamwork and unwavering determination, the team successfully completed all races, and clinched the “Mixed Corporate Silver Bowl Merit” title, fully demonstrating their commitment to sportsmanship.
Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) actively supports the "2025 Macao International Parade," organized by the Macau SAR Government to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Macau's return to the motherland. As one of the organizers, GEG sent representatives to attend the press conference, unveiling the “Culture City of East Asia 2025” program. By supporting this branded initiative of the Macau SAR Government, GEG aims to foster the exchange of Chinese and Western cultures in Macau and enhance the city’s role as a connector to the world.
