GEG Fully Supports the “UNU Macau AI Conference 2025”

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and the 50th anniversary of the United Nations University, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”), as the venue sponsor, supported the United Nations University Institute in Macau (UNU Macau) in hosting the “UNU Macau AI Conference 2025” on the theme of “AI for Humanity: Building an Equitable Digital Future.” The conference recently held an opening ceremony at the Galaxy International Convention Center, attended by distinguished guests.

Among the events, the “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents UNU Macau AI Conference 2025 Session: AI + Youth,” co-organized by GEG and UNU Macau, attracted global thought leaders, academics, and policy makers for in-depth discussions on topics focusing on AI education, youth empowerment, digital equity, and youth-led innovation.

Moving forward, GEG will continue to collaborate with all sectors to attract more international conferences and exhibitions to Macau and enhance the city’s unique appeal as a top MICE destination.

GEG Supports the Macau Labor Affairs Bureau's Traineeship Program for the 6th Consecutive Year

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) has continued its collaboration with the Macau Labor Affairs Bureau to provide development opportunities for Macau's university graduates, assisting them in entering the workplace, enhancing their business capabilities, and strengthening their employability.

The U-LEAD Traineeship Program, supported by GEG, has officially commenced. Local graduates from Macau will embark on a 3-month, immersive integrated resort internship. The program not only providing a platform for young talents to grow but also includes comprehensive skills training and hands-on work experience, allowing interns to gain an in-depth understanding of the industry's latest trends and developments.

GEG looks forward to nurturing talented individuals equipped with both practical skills and innovative thinking, empowering them for success in an ever-evolving industry.

GEG and Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macau SAR Government Sign “Nurturing Future Together” Memorandum of Understanding

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) remains dedicated to supporting the Macau SAR Government’s policy direction of “Macau Thrives on Education” and “Building Macau through Talent Training.” In line with this commitment, GEG actively participates in and supports a wide range of educational and talent development initiatives. Recently, GEG signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macau SAR Government at the Galaxy International Convention Center to officially launch the “Nurturing Future Together” initiative, further deepening collaboration in parenting education and vocational and technical training. Additionally, GEG has established school-corporate partnerships with four local secondary schools—Escola Luso-Chinesa Técnico-Profissional, Macau Kung Luen Vocational & Technical Middle School, Macao Sam Yuk Middle School, and Pui Va Middle School—to jointly cultivate diverse and high-quality talent, contributing to Macau’s sustainable development.

The collaboration focuses on two key areas: parenting education and school-corporate partnerships. GEG and DSEDJ signed the “Nurturing Future Together” MoU to strengthen collaboration in parenting education and vocational training. GEG will co-host seminars and family-friendly activities to promote work-life balance and enhance team members’ well-being. A parenting seminar was held during the signing ceremony to support employees in building harmonious families. GEG also partners with the four local secondary schools to promote vocational education by offering internships, employment opportunities, and curriculum support—enhancing Macau’s talent development and nurturing skilled professionals.

GEG Organizes Team Members to Visit the Thematic Exhibition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) arranged for 50 team members and students from the “Galaxy Integrated Resort Internship Program” to visit the “For National Liberation and World Peace: Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War” thematic exhibition recently, as part of the “GEG National Education Series.” The exhibition is organized by the Macau SAR Government and supported by the Museum of the War of the Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

Under the guidance of a professional docent, GEG team members and related students gained insights into the 14-year struggle of the Chinese people during the war and the heroic sacrifices of the martyrs. They embraced the core values of “Remembering History, Honoring Martyrs, Cherishing Peace, and Creating a Great Future,” and learned about Macau’s collective efforts in supporting the war of resistance, fostering a strong sense of unity among the people of Macau and their deep connection to the Motherland.

Moving forward, GEG will continue to promote understanding of national history and development among team members and the community through diverse measures and foster a deep sense of patriotism within the community.

GEG Aims to Equip Young People with Knowledge about Green Technology and Low-Carbon Living

Co-organized by Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) and the Macau Management Association, the “14th GEG Youth Achievement Program” (YAP) launched a series of workshops and seminars under the theme of “Empowering Technology, Creating Value” to enhance local young people’s understanding of cutting-edge technology. Recently, 20 YAP students visited GEG’s properties for the “Green Career Talk: GEG’s Future Path in Sustainability,” where they learned about GEG’s green technology practices and were encouraged to explore green career pathways.

The students also toured the back-of-house areas of the Diamond Lobby of Galaxy Macau to learn about the intelligent operation of the performance system, experienced the application of AI-powered autonomous mobile robots in logistics and carbon reduction, and explored GEG’s energy-efficient Central Chiller Plant, gaining insights into innovative technology and low-carbon management practices and better appreciating how green technology drives sustainable development. Through this event, GEG aims to equip young people with knowledge about green technology and low-carbon living, nurturing future leaders with innovative thinking and sustainable development concepts for Macau.

Naming Ceremony of Yiu Tung Building Grandly Held in UTM Taipa Campus

K. Wah Group Chairman, Francis Lui, has always shown a deep commitment to the long-term development of Macau’s talents, actively supporting the cultivation of professionals across key industries. As the Chair of the Macao University of Tourism (UTM) Development Foundation and Vice-Chair of the UTM Council, Chairman Francis Lui continues to support the development of UTM through diverse initiatives.

UTM held a grand naming ceremony for the Yiu Tung Building in the Taipa Campus yesterday. The Yiu Tung Building was officially inaugurated and became fully operational in the presence of distinguished guests. The building features 58 theoretical classrooms, 54 academic offices, four educational kitchens, a mock front desk, and housekeeping classrooms, further enhancing the educational resources at UTM and nurturing tourism elites, contributing to the high-quality development of Macau as a "World Center of Tourism and Leisure."
