GEG Launches "GEG Sea Cruises: Fishing Heritage Leisure Tour" Incorporating Cultural Elements of Fishing Village to Present a Unique Maritime and Cultural Tourism Experience

Galaxy Entertainment Group ("GEG") proactively promotes maritime tourism and the revitalization of the local community through multi-pronged approaches in hopes of helping to deepen Macau’s connotation as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure”.

GEG has launched the “GEG Sea Cruises: Fishing Heritage Leisure Tour” in collaboration with the Fishermen’s Mutual Help Association of Macau, with the aims of enhancing and enriching the maritime and cultural tourism experiences of tourists, whilst supporting Macau’s traditional fisheries and its fishermen in upgrading and transformation of, and driving forward the cross-sectoral integration of “tourism +” through practical actions.

The voyage launched from the A-Ma Pier, to allow participants to enjoy Macau’s urban and coastal scenery, passing by the city’s iconic architectures including the Governador Nobre de Carvalho Bridge, Sai Van Bridge, Kun Iam Ecumenical Center, GEG’s flagship property Galaxy Macau™, and the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards – a revitalization project jointly launched by the Macau SAR Government and GEG, enabling them to experience Macau’s unique blend of ancient and contemporary, and Eastern and Western influences from a maritime perspective.

GEG Organises Team Members to Participate in the Macao International Dragon Boat Races for the 19th Consecutive Year

Galaxy Entertainment Group ("GEG") has been promoting Macau's sports development through different initiatives over the years, and actively encourages its team members to engage in different sports events and recreational activities. For the 19th consecutive year, GEG will organise its team members to participate in the Macao International Dragon Boat Races. Recently, a blessing ceremony was held to wish for a smooth race for the six teams formed by GEG team members from its different properties and the GEG dragon boats.

GEG has been supporting Macau in hosting various sports events and activities through multi-pronged approaches. GEG has been one of the organisers of major international sports events such as the "Women's Volleyball Nations League 2024 Macao Presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group" and the "ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2024 Presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group" held at the Galaxy Arena, as well as the Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon and the WTT Champions Macao presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group that have been held for many years, all with an aim of helping to build Macau into a "City of Sports". A number of sports teams have also been set up through the GEG Staff Social Club, and team members have been encouraged to participate in sports activities such as basketball games, football games and bowling fun days, in hopes of promoting physical exercise and advocating the importance of work-life balance.
