ICGS hosts China national Olympic medalists

InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong was honored to host the China national Olympic athletes once again after Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The hotel team was devoted to showcase the True Hospitality to the 29 medalists of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and delegation group including Ms. YANG Ning, Deputy Director, General Administration of Sport of China, government officials and Mainland media.

2021 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon held successfully

The 2021 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon, sponsored by Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) for the 18^th consecutive year, was held successfully earlier this month. This year marks the 40^th anniversary of the Macao International Marathon. With the support of the organisers, GEG launched a series of brand new promotional activities, including the set-up of the “GEG Macau Cup” which was specially dedicated to local male and female champions of the Marathon and Half Marathon races; the “Fab 40” Marathon Photo Sharing and Lucky Draw, the “Most Creative Costume Award” and the “Most Creative Costume – the 40^th Anniversary Themed Award”, where GEG sponsored a series of fabulous gifts. Additionally, with the active participation of GEG team members, GEG won the “Active Group Trophy” for the 17^th consecutive year.

GEG holds blessing ceremony for 2021 Macau International Dragon Boat Races

For the 16th consecutive year, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) will participate in the Macau International Dragon Boat Races. A blessing ceremony was held earlier for the four dragon boat teams, consisting of GEG team members from various properties. This annual event is not merely a competition, but also a teambuilding activity to boost staff morale and promote wellbeing.

To ensure the health and safety of its team members, GEG fully cooperated with the relevant authorities’ pandemic prevention guidelines and implemented strict pandemic prevention measures during the training, including providing team members with face masks and temperature checks.

GEG supports the Chinese children’s theatre play “Three Monks”

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) supported the Macao Association of Chinese Culture and Arts Development in organising the “Three Monks” performance at the Broadway Theatre of Broadway Macau™ by being the venue and technical support sponsor.

The “Three Monks” was performed by the China National Theatre for Children and being the premiere performance in Macau, GEG invited students from the Macao Conservatory and the Drama Society of the University of Macau, as well as troupes that have previously performed at the Broadway Theatre, to watch the show. A sharing session was held after the performance, during which Feng Li, President of the China National Theatre for Children, together with the director and actors, held an in-depth discussion with the attending teachers and students.
