55th Anniversary Celebrations of K. Wah Group
15 December 2010
The Honourable Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR, Deputy Director Wang Zhimin, Commissioner Lu Xinhua, Secretary Carrie Lam, Secretary Ambrose Lee, dear guests, friends and colleagues of K. Wah,
It is a great honour for me to welcome you all this evening to the 55th anniversary celebrations of K. Wah Group.
From our humble beginnings in the 1950s, K. Wah has come a long way getting to where it stands today, with strong business presence in the property, construction materials, hospitality and entertainment and leisure sectors reflecting a steadfast commitment to the development of Hong Kong. We owe our achievements to the ardent support rendered by our friends and fellow-citizens, both for the Group and, at a more personal level, for myself. I must thank the government for providing a sound business environment, while my heartfelt gratitude also goes to our colleagues, who have served K. Wah with diligence and dedication over the years.
Time flies and year 2010 will soon be past us. As we welcome the new year, I sincerely wish that our nation and the Hong Kong SAR would enjoy further progress and development. I also hope that, with your continued support, K. Wah will be able to take its business achievements to a new level.
Last but not least, thank you again for supporting K. Wah. May I wish you all good health and happiness. Thank you.
