GEG delivers festival blessings through Christmas community outreach activities
GEG hosted a series of charitable activities to give back to the society during this Christmas season. GEG volunteer team conducted visits to Peng On Tung tele-assistance service users, while the Group also sponsored members of social welfare organisations for a movie screening, and sent red packets and gift packs to the elderly.
Floral arrangement session by KWCM Social Club volunteer team X Hong Chi Kwong Fuk Wai Yin Workshop
Members of KWCM Social Club joined the students of Hong Chi Kwong Fuk Wai Yin Workshop in a floral arrangement workshop in late August. At the event held at K. Wah Concrete Customer Service Centre in Tai Po, volunteers learned floral arrangement skills from the instructor before helping students of Hong Chi Association to learn the same as all shared the joy of floral arrangement.
GEG spreads love at the Caritas Macau charity bazaar
2018 marks the eighth consecutive year that Galaxy Entertainment Group supports Caritas Macau’s annual charity bazaar. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG, presented a cheque of MOP 200,000 to Caritas Macau to support their community outreach programmes for the underprivileged on behalf of GEG. A group of 50 GEG volunteers also participated by manning the game booths they created and raised fund for Caritas Macau’s community services.
The office buildings and hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui East (“TSTE”), including InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong, K. Wah Group’s five-star flagship hotel, have lit up their exterior illuminations for Christmas on 6 November 2018! As a member of the Tsim Sha Tsui East Property Developers Association, Ms Paddy Lui, Executive Director of K. Wah International Holdings Limited and Managing Director of Stanford Hotels International, officiated the TSTE Festive Illuminations Switch-on Ceremony with other guests.
KWIH and St. James' Settlement co-organise “Pizza Master Chef & Movie Appreciation”
K. Wah International (“KWIH”) joined hands with St. James' Settlement to host the “Pizza Master Chef & Movie Appreciation”. KWIH staff volunteers participated in a pizza-making workshop with 21 children benefited from the support of St. James' Settlement, to make their own flavour of pizza and visit the kitchen in Pizza Hut. Beneficiaries were also accompanied by our volunteers to enjoy the new movie. The group had a great weekend eating lots of delicious pizza and watching movie together!
Galaxy Entertainment Group is committed to spreading love and care to different groups in the community through a diverse range of activities. As the title sponsor of Gudetama outdoor show in Macau, GEG hosted a charitable session for students from the Macau Down Syndrome Association. The Group also sponsored and participated in the elderly care activity co-organised by the Peng On Tong Center and the Mong Ha Community Center of the General Union of Neighbors' Association of Macao, and invited elderly residents of Federação das Associações dos Operarios de Macau to attend classic hits live concert.
